Michelle was raised in Miami Dade County. She learned to swim at an early age, and it was game over from there. Michelle’s passion for swimming took her all the way to college where she swam competitively. Having an Olympic swimmer as a mom, and a dad who loves boating, falling in love with the ocean came naturally to Michelle. Growing up the family took boat trips to the Florida Keys to dive the reefs, wakeboard and fish. Her love of the outdoors only grew when she was introduced to spearfishing. Today, Michelle spends her time spearfishing for food and modeling in hopes to finally grow a tail and become a mermaid!
When did you first get involved with Salt Life? I first got involved with Salt Life in October 2020
What is your favorite hobby when you’re not living the Salt Life? My favorite hobby out of the water is hiking. I recently moved from Florida to California, and hiking has been the challenge I needed when I’m not in the water. Being outdoors in the fresh
air clears my mind....
Is there something on your bucket list that you’d like to accomplish? Something on my bucket list that I have been wanting to accomplish is to visit Hawaii and find an octopus. It might sound strange, but I have never seen one in person. I would love to find one while it is camouflaged, and then observe its natural behavior in the ocean.
What are you most passionate about? Diving and the ocean. Something about it mesmerizes me.
