Lauren Landers
Lauren grew up in Missouri but traveled yearly to the Bahamas which led her to pursue the Salt Life in every way possible. Today, Lauren is a marine biologist, freediver, spearo, and also holds her USCG 100 Ton Captain’s license! These endeavors have allowed her to spend the most time she can on the water, doing what she loves.
When did you first get involved with Salt Life?
I got involved with Salt Life in early 2021, a few months after relocating to the Bahamas where I am able to fully embrace living the Salt Life!
Is there something on your bucket list that you’d like to accomplish?
My ultimate bucket list item is to travel the world by sailboat! I never know what I will see traveling by boat or diving, which is one of the reasons I love this lifestyle. There are so many beautiful and unique spots around the world and I can’t wait to explore them - above and below the water!...
What are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about ocean conservation. I believe that we need to protect our oceans. In my opinion, protection and positive change begins with education, especially educating the younger generation, which is something I would really love to do during my travels.
