Kyle Busey

Kyle Busey was born and raised in Charleston, SC. A water baby since birth, Kyle started surfing when he was 11-years-old and has not strayed far from the water since. By age 14, he had State, Regional, East Coast and National Championships under his belt. In addition to being a professional surfer, Kyle owns three top-rated water sports companies in Charleston.

When did you first get involved with Salt Life?

Is there something on your bucket list that you’d like to accomplish?
I would love to take a chartered boat trip around the Mentawis Islands in Indonesia.  I would go with a handful of my best friends and we would surf the best waves in the world, eating our fresh-caught fish everyday. Nothing better...

What is your favorite category in the Salt Life line? Why?
For sure the boardshorts, followed closely by anything in the performance series.  You really can’t go wrong with any of those items. It really feels like wearing nothing.

What are you most passionate about?
I’ve always been passionate about animals. If I can help them or protect them in any way, I will. It’s our responsibility to be their voice.
