Angie Keilhauer
Based in Nashville, TN, Angie is a country music singer who sneaks out to the ocean whenever she gets a chance. When she is not writing songs or spending time on the water, Angie tours alongside her favorite artists including Jake Owen, Melissa Etherige and Tanya Tucker. Fun Fact: Angie also sings the song that plays behind the nightly fireworks show at Disney World with Jordan Fisher, “Happily Ever After.”
When did you first get involved with Salt Life?
Jake Owen is one of my managers and introduced me to Salt Life. Being a Salt Life fan my whole life, it was a no brainer for me to work with people that are as obsessed with the water as I am!
What is your favorite tropical destination?
There’s a beach in El Salvador where I grew up (before moving to Georgia) called El Tunco. It’s one of my favorite places on Earth....
What is your favorite category in the Salt Life line?
The tees! I don’t know what it is about Salt Life tees, but I always feel like life is good when I put one on. They’re my go to on the water. I like to wear tanks at the start of my trips, then change into an oversized men’s shirt when it’s time to save my shoulders from the sun. I also recently got a pair of Salt Life sunglasses and can’t believe how well they cut through the water!
How would you spend you dream day?
I would wake up to some fresh juice pulled from trees outside, jump in the water and play the waves. I’d surf a little, lay in a hammock, and eat LOTS of fresh ceviche. In the evening, I’d enjoy sunset fishing with Kenny Chesney playing in the background. The dream day!
