Amanda is an avid angler who travels all over the world targeting various species, and competing in numerous tournaments. She also enjoys spearfishing, hunting, and other thrill-based activities. For her day job, Amanda is a certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the ER. This career supports her outdoor addiction financially, while providing a flexible schedule that allows ample time for outdoor adventures. Amanda is also a contributing writer for several outdoor publications. She loves sharing her Salt Life addiction with others, and influencing her community in a positive, healthy manner.
When did you first get involved with Salt Life? I first got involved with Salt Life in 2009 when I took a trip to Key West and wrote an article for Gaff Magazine about lobstering in the keys.

Is there something on your bucket list that you’d like to accomplish? My bucket list is getting pretty empty but I still want to catch a fish in every state of the US. I’ll be working on this over the next few years.
What is your craziest/funniest Salty adventure? My best Salt Life adventure took place in 2019 when I targeted and caught all nine species of billfish. I traveled all over the world with hopes of catching them in a year, but ended up pulling it off in only seven months.
