When did you first get involved with Salt Life? I was stoked to join the team in Summer 2021. I am grateful and excited to share the Salt Life vibes, adventures and incredible products with the Texas Coast and beyond.
What are you most passionate about? Definitely my work -educating and coaching. My business SPI Sessions LLC, teaches people of all ages the action sports I love. We combine new skills with an environmental outlook that helps encourage new ambassadors for the planet. I also spend lots of time working on projects for a nonprofit I started called, Gulf Guardians. We build hands-on projects and curriculum focusing on plastic pollution, water quality, sustainability and climate change. ...
What is your favorite category in the Salt Life line? I absolutely love the performance line. I wear the leggings and the long sleeve shirts whileworking out and paddleboarding to protect my legs from the sun. I'm also in love with my Salt Life sunglasses.
What is your favorite hobby when you’re not enjoying the salt life? I’m pretty much always enjoying the Salt Life. Riding waves is my favorite thing in the world. I am particularly fond of nose riding, but I also love high performance surfing. Between the two styles I could be locked in the ocean and content forever. However, I find myself at the mercy of variable conditions in my beautiful hometown of South Padre Island, Texas. When it’s windy, I’ll go kitesurfing and if the waves are flat, the butter flat bay never lets me down for a freestyle session. When it’s calm I’ll enjoy a SUP adventure, SUP training session, or sometimes even snorkel or spearfish at the jetty.
