Salt life Sunglasses are 100% made in Italy using Swiss made TR90 material and Zeiss lenses, the finest lenses in the world. Our Zeiss lenses have a proprietary 5 layer anti-reflective coating on the inside of the lens that eliminates glare and a double ri-pel coating on the outside and inside of the lens that functions like rain-ex so water bounces off our lenses. All of our coatings are vacuum sealed on so they are permanent and will not delaminate. Colors appear vibrant and natural with Zeiss's exclusively formulated tints that bolster contrast and clarity without distorting the color spectrum. You will see a significant difference between our Zeiss lenses and all other brands. Our polycarbonate lenses are lightweight, shatterproof and scratch resistant. Our lenses are polarized and offer 100% UV protection from harmful rays.
The optical frame size for this style is 66-22-120
If you wear glasses and have a pair handy already, first check the inner side of the temples (arms) of those glasses. Usually, there are some numbers listed on them, so you can use these to find your perfect frame size.
At Salt Life, we give you the best optics available in our sunglasses, but unless your frame fits your face, you will not reap the full benefits of your new shades. So, here’s the low down on frame measurements and just what those numbers mean:
The first number tells you the distance in millimeters from the outer corner of 1 lens to the inner corner of the same lens. The larger the number is, the larger the overall frame will be.
The second number tells you the distance in millimeters between the two lenses at the inner corners, or how wide apart the lenses are across the bridge of your nose.
The last number tells you the length in millimeters from the hinge to the tip of the temple/arm/stem. The larger the number is, the longer the length will be.
In short, if you have a small face, choose the frame with the smaller first number, and if your face is a little larger, try one of our frames with a larger first number.
