Aviator sunglasses were original developed in 1936 for pilots to protect their eyes from flying. Our Salt Life Cudjoe Aviator style sunglasses take these classic sunglasses to a whole new level. Our Italian made sunglasses have authentic Zeiss lenses and coatings to provide long lasting performance. Our 5 layer anti-reflective coating completely eliminates glare and allows you to spot fish faster which gives you a major advantage on the water. Our exclusively designed tangle free adjustable integrated nose pads allow you to place our sunglasses on the top of your head without getting caught in your hair. Order your pair today and see the difference.
The optical frame size for this style is 59-13-140
If you wear glasses and have a pair handy already, first check the inner side of the temples (arms) of those glasses. Usually, there are some numbers listed on them, so you can use these to find your perfect frame size.
At Salt Life, we give you the best optics available in our sunglasses, but unless your frame fits your face, you will not reap the full benefits of your new shades. So, here’s the low down on frame measurements and just what those numbers mean:
The first number tells you the distance in millimeters from the outer corner of 1 lens to the inner corner of the same lens. The larger the number is, the larger the overall frame will be.
The second number tells you the distance in millimeters between the two lenses at the inner corners, or how wide apart the lenses are across the bridge of your nose.
The last number tells you the length in millimeters from the hinge to the tip of the temple/arm/stem. The larger the number is, the longer the length will be.
In short, if you have a small face, choose the frame with the smaller first number, and if your face is a little larger, try one of our frames with a larger first number.
