Timmy Curran has competed on and off the World Tour Of Surfing for the last 15 years. His highest finish was 6th on the World Tour Of Surfing Professionals in 1999. During that year he won 2 events, Chiba Japan and Lacanau France. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of surfing's "Aerial Revolution" of the late 1990s, and is famous for creating a new maneuver called the Alley OOp, and a full rotation, upside-down flip in two-foot surf at Rocky Point in Hawaii during winter of 2005. This popular aerial achievement has become known worldwide as simply "The Flip".
In 2004 Tim opened for the Foo Fighters on their west coast acoustic tour. Including 3 shows at the Sydney Opera House. In 2006 Tim had a music video for his song “Blue Eyes” on VH1 for six weeks. For the past 5 years he has been touring his last 3 independent albums. He plans on releasing another full length solo acoustic album sometime in late fall 2015.
